Each marionette, sculpted in Cornish stoneware clay, is a personification of a classic variety of festive foliage. The greenery gathered for inspiration while out walking in the countryside was pressed into clay to leave its imprint. These maidenly personifications are an ode to strength in adversity, as each of these plants embodies a strength of spirit to grow even in the harshest of times.
